Dr. Javad Sadri, is the president and founder of Camp in Labs Foundation. He is a senior AI, and Machine Learning scientist with 20+ years working experiences in academia and industry. He has been teaching, conducting research, and supervising graduate students in several universities in Canada and abroad such as: Concordia, McGill, and ETS Universities, and Universities of Mashhad, and Birjand. So far, he has supervised 40+ graduate students at Ph.D. and Master levels. Dr. Sadri has published 50+ scientific publications in international journals and conferences, plus one chapter book in the area of pattern recognition. His research and teaching interests include AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Pattern Recognition, Image Processing, Computer Vision, Data Science, Data Mining, Computational Biology and Bioinformatics. He also holds one registered patent in the field of AI and document recognition. In addition to having several years of academic experiences, he has been working closely with science and technology parks, incubators/accelerators, and start-ups in Canada for developing innovative business solutions, transferring technology from academia, creating patents, and developing businesses.
